Marrakesh Kasbah

Marrakesh Kasbah brings an authentic piece of Moroccan culture to the Georgian city of Bath. This beautiful apartment is located on the 2nd floor of this beautiful 17th century Georgian building (circa 1730). It comprises of one double and single room, sitting/dining room, small hallway and bathroom.

The Space

From the moment you walk through Marrakesh Kasbah’s door you are transported into the real world of Morocco. Moorish décor and Moroccan furnishings finished to the highest standard feature in all the apartments rooms. These include handcrafted Moroccan floor, wall, ceiling lights and candles, bone encrusted mirrors, traditional handmade painting, intricately carved wooden furniture and a sofa upholstered in Berber script and soft cushioned seating.

Kitchen and Lounge

Marrakesh Kasbah’s living room is an open plan, light and airy room with striking views overlooking Parade gardens. It offers a very comfortable sofa upholstered in Berber script, a wall-mounted TV and Sonos smart speaker together with fully fitted kitchen comprising all the essentials that guest would expect to make their stay comfortable including microwave, washing machine, and a selection of luxury teas, coffee and biscuits for your convenience to welcome you.

Master Bedroom

The glamorous bedroom also offers a fantastic view overlooking Parade Gardens. It contains a brand-new deluxe 6 foot double bed with high-quality duvets and linen, Moroccan rugs, hand made carved wooden furniture, state of the art wall and ceiling lights, wall flat-screen TV and Sonos smart speaker to enjoy.

Single Bedroom

This comfortable room includes a handmade carved bed in Berber script, together with a side table, also desk and chair along with traditional ceiling and table lights and Sonos smart speaker.

Bathroom

This beautiful bathroom comprises a bath, shower, hairdryer, towels, shampoo and shower gel.

 9.0  Amazing interior, great location, nice foods and good value of money
☺ The interior was amazing, tidy, and cleaned.
The property was located very close to the most interesting places in the city.
If you wish to have Moroccan foods, then you can have it next door, great foods in a great value of money.

☹ I could not find any.
Perhaps, if you bring along a big and heavy luggage, then you need to be ready for a little bit exercise to bring it for 2 stairs up 😊

 10  Beautiful, rustic Morroccan apartment in very close proximity to town.
☺ The property owner had left teas, coffee and milk for us. The beds were very cosy and comfortable.
Loved the Moroccan vibe. Also ate at the owners restaurant below which was lovely.

 9.0  Perfect position to explore Bath
☺ We loved the decor, good wifi, comfortable beds and kitchen facilities.
Only 5 minutes walk from the Abbey, Pump Rooms etc.

☹ The beautiful Moroccan sofa is not super comfortable, but blankets strategically placed helped a lot!
There is quite a lot of noise 2-3 am every night, just for ½ hour as night clubs close, as a kebab van parks nearby…out of the control of the apartment owner of course. But we got back to sleep again, and otherwise it was quiet, for our mid week stay at least!

☹ Not told the apartment was on the second floor with several flights of stairs. Also over bath shower and no safety mat not good for older people. Some noise until the early hours from drinkers sitting outside nearby pub.
